A Little Bit About Me
Salaam Alaykum Wabarakatu for all those looking.
I am 26 years old, and a revert of five years, Alhumdillah. I am Puerto Rican, of European,
Native, and African Descent. I was born and raised in New York City, which I call my home
for six months of of the year. I currently hold an Associates of Arts Degree in Psychology,
and a Bachelors of Arts in General Studies. I also hold CELTA credentials and I am currently
working on a dual Masters in Education and International Business; focusing mainly on
Asian markets. I am a Teacher/School owner based in the Shandong Province, China. I am
proud of my business, and the fact that Islam has placed me in a part lives of children
through teaching English, and operating a school.
My life was not easy, and even after discovering Islam, and making Shahaddah- I still found
things difficult. I have learnt plenty in the five years, I have been Muslim, and in sha allah I
will learn more. I make salat, five times daily, fast, and give sadaqat/zakat NO questions
asked.
I love teaching, playing rugby, design, architecture, sciences, and learning pedagogy. On my
spare time, I am usually volunteering my time for the needy, or learning more about the
wonders of Islam.

Now, before you message me, YOU must know some things.
1) I am not in a rush to get married. If you, or your parents insist that I marry you ASAP;
then
you must look elsewhere. I am not a fool, and I feel that protecting my assets are of greater
importance then to get married via online.
2) I am a revert. Don’t ask me about my past sins. I am not going to answer them. The past
is my past, and that has been cleared the moment I made my declaration.
3) I don’t adhere to caste. I think the caste concept is one of the many things that
are
hellbent on destroying Islam.
4) If you are a Salafist, or a Wahaabi, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOU.
5) I am not your free ticket for US Citizenship either. If I feel like if that is the case,
then I will
report you to INS. If your intention is to marry me, marry me for allah’s sake- not for a
free
meal.
6) I have many tattoos. If you have a problem with that, look elsewhere.
7) I am rather fat. If you have a problem, you can take the shallow train somewhere else.
8) I have shia, jew, Druze, Buddhists, Hindu, and Christian friends. If you have a problem,
then go somewhere else.
9) My family is diverse. One of my siblings is gay. If you have a problem with that, go
somewhere else.
10) We will be living in China for a long while. If that is a problem, you can go somewhere
else.

What I Am Looking For
I seek a sister that can be my moral and emotional support/check. Someone that can not only enjoy going to the Masjid together, but does not mind a Nerf fight (or a pillow fight). I am a kid at heart, and I am very passionate. I would like someone that can put up with my imperfections. Someone with a sense of humor is IMPERATIVE. If you don't like to joke, and laugh, THEN TO THE LEFT!
I am attractive to shorter, thicker sisters; however I am don't have physical preferences. I believe that love and intimacy begins on a spiritual level. Most brothers can comprehend that sometimes; which perplexes me beyond a dumbed-down state.
Please don't be a "gold digger/VISA chaser". Understand that if there is a notion that you are coming off as someone that is either using me for a VISA, or not genuinely serious about Nikkah- I will find out, and it will be the end of our Marriage. I have NO problems reporting someone to Immigration. Besides, Permanent Residency in the States is not easy to obtain anymore.
If you are a Liar, have ever cheated on a former spouse/gf, or have stole (unless you were in need of food), DO NOT CONTACT ME. I want nothing of those types in my life. There is no excuse or justification to Cheating or Lying.
Widows, Divorcees, and Reverts are given preference, since I am a revert. I would talk to a born Muslim, but I need to be ensured that the sister's culture does not conflict with deen.
